The CE Department aims to create prudent electronics professionals and researchers. The Department runs one program at UG level - BTech(CE). Students are given a strong foundation in CE that includes software, hardware and basics of construction technology. Basic civil CAD foundation subjects such as English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry are taught in the I year. Core civil courses are introduced from II year onwards.



The CE Department aims to create prudent civil engineering professionals and researchers.

This allows students to master the subject and carry out projects in the related subject in third and fourth years. Specialized courses have been introduced for the final year to enable students to explore the wider applications of civil engineering.

To achieve quality and need oriented technical education, making technical education more purposeful and prosperity oriented with realistic and practical approaches to learning. To equip ourselves with all facets of professional Engineering and Technology and to have a modest Engineering industry base, which should act as a model for students enabling a comprehensive outlook of Engineering and Technology with a strong basic Sciences base.

MISSION

To create an approved Development Center, Design Center with latest Design Tools enabling Research and Development and establishment of a healthy Industry-Institution interaction in a phased manner, aiding in technology that is affordable and available at ease to the common man.

Curriculum


The curriculum includes theory, labs, e-classes, Punariksha (GRE/GATE), SAC activities allowing the student a wholesome development in technical, social, and cultural fields. All Projects are conducted InHouse by our experienced faculty on real-time applications, enabling every student to gain useful insight into the working of the Civil Engineering industry.

The Department has seen some brilliant students making their foray into establishment of successful firms.We believe that every student has an untapped potential. We endeavor to enable the student to discover the same, thereby enabling him/her to make a mark in the Civil Engineering world.

Research


The Department has a strong research focus, with impetus on VLSI and Embedded systems. Several papers have been published in Conferences and Journals of repute.
